North Community Lutheran Church's Director of Music is Dr. Craig Johnson. His primary
responsibilities are the coordination of the Music ministries at North Community and,
specifically, leadership of the Adult Choir and Adult Bell Choir. He schedules anthems
for worship throughout the year, by groups or individuals, vocal or instrumental. Craig
is also involved in hymn selections.
Our Organist is Dennis Crill. He plays for services, weddings, selects
organ music and accompanies vocal or instrumental soloists.
Deborah Govenor has joined our staff as Co-Organist. She is a former organist at North Community and is a local church music composer and arranger. Debby shares responsibilities for services and accompaniment needs.
Leading the Children's Choir is LouAnn Crill. She schedules the Children's Choir to sing at services throughout
the school year. They practice at 9:45 a.m. each Sunday.
During the choir year (September - May), rehearsals are held every Thursday evening as follows;
7:15 p.m. - Adult Bell Choir
7:45 p.m. - Adult Choir.
