Contributing and communing members of North Community Lutheran Church gather annually for the congregational meeting in November.
The Congregation Council consists of 9 members who shall be responsible for providing direction and implementation of North Community's mission.
These areas include but are not limited to, the following:

• Providing for worship services and music together with enhancement of the worship space;
• Maintaining and coordinating an educational program and encouraging spiritual development;
• Sharing the good news in the community, and toward members, of the congregation;
• Overseeing programs for various social, study and service groups within the congregation, the youth and families;
• Maintaining all church property and planning for new facilities;
• Encouraging community service and benevolent opportunities;
• Developing and encouraging good stewardship of time and talent; and
• Planning and overseeing programs for the children of the congregation and the adults in their lives; and
• Administrating the financial affairs of the congregation.

Various ministry groups have primary responsibility for planning and coordinating the programming in the following areas:

FAMILY MINISTRY - focusing on ministry to our children and the adults in their lives (both as individuals and as a family unit).

FINANCIAL RESOURCES - administrating the financial affairs of the congregation.

LIFE & GROWTH - overseeing programs for various social, study and service groups within the congregation, the youth, and for the congregation itself.

OUTREACH - sharing the good news in the community, and toward members, especially those who may be inactive in the congregation.

PROPERTY - maintaining all church property and planning for new facilities.

VOLUNTEER RESOURCES - developing and encouraging good stewardship of each person's time and talent.

WORSHIP, MUSIC & ART - providing for worship services and music in the congregation and the enhancement of the worship space and the building.

We invite and encourage all members, including the youth, to participate in each ministry group. Most of the ministry Groups meet on the first Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m.
